Lib Technologies is an American Snowboard manufacturing company, (owned by Mervin), known for its radically approach to snowboard design.

The best part about this forwarding thinking company (aka Lib Tech), is that they are always open to trying new designs with their products, which gets people excited.

Mike Olson took the first steps towards sustainability early in the growth development of Lib Technologies. To decrease the impact on the environment, Mike basically replace toxic plastics with recyclable polyethylene in 1986, and introduced sustainable polymer top sheets and bamboo cores in 1995.

The latest technology to date, to come out of the forward thinking companies experimental division, is magne traction.

Magne-Traction snowboards have seven contact points for you to rely on when pressure is applied to the board. Basically this technology latest innovation replaces the conventional “two contact-point ski and snowboard theory”.
